I purchased 17 doors and windows from Jeld-Wen few months ago. The lock on one window was broken.
After contacting the customer service, I was instructed to submit the claim through their website. After few days of submitting the claim a representative from the company called me to set up an appointment to replace the broken lock. The problem was right a day before the appointment date, a technician called to cancel the appointment, since they didn’t have the part yet. This things happened THREE times and every time appointments were cancelled due not having the part.
Every time I called their customer service, they were putting me on a long hold (45+ minutes), the promise was that we will investigate the issue, but never heard anything from them.
Please do not go with the Jeld-Wen. They have the worst customer service ever, even worse than Verizon.
